The Business
The Red Cat has an exceptional reputation in the area, with a regular and faithful clientele returning time and again.
Crowned the North West's 'Young Chef of the Year' back in 2009, Chris Rawlinson got his passion and enthusiasm for producing the highest quality cuisine whilst training under some of the most ambitious chefs in the UK and Australia.
Sourcing most of his ingredients from the British Isles and as many as possible locally, Chris produces everything from scratch, including the restaurants breads and pastry. His attention to detail has seen The Red Cat honoured with two AA rosettes, as well as being listed in the Michelin guide for the last three years.
An excellent value lunch menu is available, Wednesday to Sunday (12pm - 2pm) along with a sumptious a la carte menu, this is also available in the evenings (6pm - late). An early evening 'Market Menu' is available from 6pm - 7pm, with three courses for just £22.50, this is a great introduction to the quality cuisine at The Red Cat.
You may choose to opt for the seven course tasting menu; together with a selection of accompanying wines, this is the ultimate dining experience at The Red Cat.
A special three course menu is available for £22.50, this is served all day Sunday from 12pm - 6pm.
