The Business

A terrific farm shop selling their own, traditionally reared beef which has been aged, on the bone, for a minimum of 21 days. They also sell their own rare breed pork, locally reared lamb and free-range chicken from Willacy's at Poulton. To accompany this excellent quality meat you'll also find an enormous range of fresh fruit and vegetables, with many locally grown and seasonal varieties available throughout the year.

Barn reared and free-range eggs are on sale, including some from rare breed hens.

The chiller cabinet is well stocked with a good selection of cheeses, many of them produced in Lancashire as well as Lancashire butter, milk and cream from nearby Rowland's Dairy in Mawdesley. And, if you have a bit of a sweet tooth, don't forget the Cartmel sticky toffee pudding and a cabinet chock full of Mrs Dowson's delicious ice cream!

As well as all of the fantastic range of fresh produce, Toogood also have an excellent stock other speciality and quality brand ingredients including: oils and vinegars, sea salt, sugar, flour, rice, noodles, pasta, chocolate, cordials, beers and wines.....I could go on but it's easier to see it for yourself!!

Toogood Farm Shop is open Monday to Saturday, 8am till 6pm
