The Business

Our herd of pedigree Aberdeen-Angus cattle are bred and raised on prime pastures by the River Ribble on the Lancashire/Yorkshire border. This gives a finer grained, well marbled meat and a tender, delicious eating experience.

The welfare of our animals is paramount and, accordingly, we have a strong herd health policy.

We take pride in enhancing the countryside, activeley managing our ancient bluebell woods together with new plantings of both wood and hedges.

Living in the Ribble Valley it's reassuring to see how these cattle are raised (no anonymous supermarket packs here!), but more than this - whether a rib joint or mince for a Bolognese Sauce - it actually tastes like beef should. PK

Excellent succulent beef with a good variety of cuts in each box. A local gardening club met at the farm in August and members rated it the best meeting of the year. An efficient friendly service. MM
